We are very fortunate to have a wonderful team of hardworking men and women to help to make Xtraweld the company that it is today.
Each employee plays an important part in the functioning of our company and this is how we are able to produce the high quality work that we do. Rob, Kevin and Dave are our project managers who will always go above an beyond to cater for the needs of clients and manage the projects. Our workshop consists of 15 highly qualified fabricators qualified in both TIG and MIG. Once the work is drawn and fabricated, it is then up to our friendly site teams to finish off the installation. These consist of 6 highly qualified CSCS, IPAF, PASMA trained individuals who have a large amount of experience within the trade. We are also very lucky to have 2 apprentices recently join our team and we are very excited to see their journey within the trade blossom.
Glyn and his wonderful wife Sharon founded the business in 1996 after spending his early years in the Army. Glyn has an extremely wide knowledge on all aspects of the trade and when he isn't working, you will find him at the river banks, doing what he loves most-Fishing!
Kevin is the companies longest serving employee working here for 25 years. Kevin is our mathematical genius and there isn't much that Kevin doesn't know. He forms a huge, important part of the team and is often referred to as Google.
Dave has worked for Xtraweld for the past 7 years. Dave is very organised and attentive and always goes above an beyond to help clients and contractors. When he isn't at work, you will either find him sunning it up or at the golf course.
Ash first came to Xtraweld on his Work Experience when he was 15. After starting here fabricating, Ash has excelled and now manages both the workshops and site teams ensuring that the work we produce is of the highest quality. He has recently welcomed his son Harley into the trade who has just started his apprenticeship with us.
Our site manager Dave is our go to man when it comes to site fitting. His creative mindset helps to complete even the trickiest of jobs. From working welding truck bodies at the age of 15, Dave has continued to work in the metal industry and his son Lucca, our new apprentice, is slowly following in his footsteps.
